Very exciting news - especially for those that have been waiting patiently in anticipation with orders in hand :o),.....
• What is 'BLOCKART'?
BlockArt presents an exciting photographic/art based product created in collaboration with partner and renowned photographer/artist/writer Darroch Donald.
• The details
- Block-mounted photographs or art reproductions on white powder-coated particle board
- High quality, hand crafted and signed by the artist/photographer
- A little reminder, small and beautiful
- Hang on the wall, as singles or as sets. Each block is made to hang flush against the wall. A small hole on the back allows them to hang easily from a panel pin (small nail).
- Or place them freestanding on a shelf or a desk
- The perfect keepsake, or gift
- Small and easy to post 'mini pictures'
- Exceptional quality at an affordable price
• What shape & size?
The blocks come in two shapes, square (95mm x 95mm x 18mm) or panoramic (140mm x 60mm x 18mm), with the panoramics suitable for both landscape and portrait images.
• How many?
Currently we offer an extensive range of over 300 Australasian block mounted images, with many in the pipeline. They range from the nature-based imagery, to landscapes, abstracts, pets, people and cityscapes.
• Viewing the blocks?
Click on the BLOCKART TAB (BELOW) or on the LOGO in my portfolio. This will take you to our temporary BlockArt website pages (as we develop our more user-friendly ecommerce site). Then just click on the images marked ‘SQUARE BLOCKS’ and ‘PANORAMIC BLOCKS’.
• What is the cost?
$22 AUD per block (plus postage).
All blocks come in a free eco-friendly cotton pouch that can be re-used as opposed to throwaway cardboard or plastic based packaging.
• The perfect gift, or home adornment!
Small, yet impacting, clean and contemporary, they present the perfect gift, particularly if being sent by mail, or indeed as your own abiding reminder of that much loved creature, pet, person, or place. The range of nature based abstracts are also proving very popular as an element of interior design, their size and combinations ideal when wall space is at a premium, or for placement in areas not suited to larger artworks. Also, why not use your own creativity in picking a themed series of blocks? A series of three works particularly well and for us, in their creation, it has become almost an obsession!
• Can we mount your own images?
Your pet, or child perhaps? Well, as Obama would say…’Yes we can’. Just Email us and we will send you the detail.
• Payment?
A fully automated independent E-Commerce site dedicated to BLOCKART is on the way, but in the meantime please E-mail us your enquiry or your order by listing the individual block numbers under each block on this website. Just click on the ‘Square Blocks’ or ‘Panoramic Blocks’ images. We accept payment by Paypal or direct bank transfer or deposit.

Note any image you like on this website or on Darroch’s (www.darrochdonald.com) we can almost always (depending on composition) turn in to BlockArt.
